Aitronik is an Italian company founded in 2017 with the aim of helping vehicle manufacturers robotize their cars. Over the years has developed and integrated software and sensor architectures to build AI systems in autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs), aircraft, agricultural robots and more. Their business philosophy? The idea that autonomous robots represent an opportunity for a more efficient, safer and less polluted world.

PermTech produces instruments for measuring the permeability of different gases in pharmaceutical and beverage packaging. The instruments are produced in close cooperation with some leader sector companies, with a special care in matching the needs of the industrial R&D and the quality control labs.
AvMap was born in 1994 in Carrara, Tuscany, within the TWS group, active in the assisted navigation sector since 1984. In 30 years of activity, AvMap has led the development of GPS technology in every mobility sector. BFD Electrical Systems Srl is a leading company in the photovoltaic sector, in the maintenance of automated systems and in the design and installation of electrical systems. They collaborate with major national companies on their construction sites in Italy and around the world, and their mission is to promote the adoption of renewable energy, providing innovative and sustainable solutions for the energetic needs of their customers.

Metis 3DLab is a company that offers a comprehensive service for 3D printing and manufacturing of laminated components in carbon, Kevlar, and fiberglass, from design to post-production.
It has been one of the main supporters of the team since the previous edition of the Air Cargo Challenge, assisting us in the creation of parts through additive manufacturing with polymers, such as molds for constructing aerodynamic surfaces in composite material.

Ansys is one of the leading software on the market for engineering simulation in industrial contexts.
It contributes to the project’s development by providing a tailored package of advanced-level software licenses for various simulation modules, according to the team’s requirements.
In particular, we have utilized and will mainly use modules for CFD and structural FEM simulation.
Exel Composites provides pultruded composite solutions for various sectors. The company stands out for its collaborative approach, innovation, and commitment to global sustainable solutions.
Exel Composites supplied us with high-quality carbon tubes and rods along with targeted assistance in selecting these products.
Matt3D is a company based in Arezzo that deals with the design, printing and finishing of 3D parts. Their FDM 3D printers feature a wide variety of printing solutions: from PLA and ABS for rapid prototyping, to high-performance materials such as Kevlar and carbon fiber.
In particular, the company contributed to the project through discounts on some pieces.
The FILOALFA® brand belongs to MAIP COMPOUNDING S.R.L., the business division of MAIP GROUP for advanced technopolymer compounding. Starting from 2021, it is also specialized in the production and distribution of 3D printing extremely high quality filaments, that are resistant and versatile.
In particular, FILOALFA® gave us a 40% discount on polymer filaments for 3D printing.
Sorvolando Compositi deals with the sale of products for construction in composite materials. The company offers assistance to customers and follows their needs by offering high quality products Made in Italy and Made in Germany.
The company contributed to the project by cutting the ribs for our drone.

EUROAVIA (European Association of Aerospace Students) is an European association founded in 1959, which brings together students of aerospace engineering and related disciplines.
It is one of the main sponsors of the Air Cargo Challenge, and most of our team members are part of it.

The Department of Civil and Industrial Engineering (DICI) of the University of Pisa unifies the departments of aerospace engineering, chemical engineering, industrial chemistry and materials science, mechanical, nuclear engineering and part of the civil engineering department. Multidisciplinarity is one of the distinctive elements of the Department, which collaborates with private companies and public institutions to provide innovative solutions to the local and national production system.
The Department helped the team through a donation that will allow us to cover some project expenses.
