In addition to the University, many other local and international companies are collaborating with us, providing many services that are indispensable to us. 

Thanks to the support of external companies we are able to think big and always look for the best solution to every question that engineering design poses to us, while ensuring the visibility of their brands on an international and industry stage.

GOLD PARTNERS

Aitronik is an Italian company founded in 2017 with the aim of helping vehicle manufacturers robotize their cars. Over the years has developed and integrated software and sensor architectures to build AI systems in autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs), aircraft, agricultural robots and more. Their business philosophy? The idea that autonomous robots represent an opportunity for a more efficient, safer and less polluted world.

PermTech produces instruments for measuring the permeability of different gases in pharmaceutical and beverage packaging. The instruments are produced in close cooperation with some leader sector companies, with a special care in matching the needs of the industrial R&D and the quality control labs.

BFD Electrical Systems Srl is a leading company in the photovoltaic sector, in the maintenance of automated systems and in the design and installation of electrical systems. They collaborate with major national companies on their construction sites in Italy and around the world, and their mission is to promote the adoption of renewable energy, providing innovative and sustainable solutions for the energetic needs of their customers.
The company offered us the bus for the trip to Aachen.

Metis 3DLab is a company that offers a comprehensive service for 3D printing and manufacturing of laminated components in carbon, Kevlar, and fiberglass, from design to post-production.
It has been one of the main supporters of the team since the previous edition of the Air Cargo Challenge, assisting us in the creation of parts through additive manufacturing with polymers, such as molds for constructing aerodynamic surfaces in composite material.

Matt3D is a company based in Arezzo that deals with the design, printing and finishing of 3D parts. Their FDM 3D printers feature a wide variety of printing solutions: from PLA and ABS for rapid prototyping, to high-performance materials such as Kevlar and carbon fiber.
In particular, the company contributed to the project through discounts on some pieces.

The FILOALFA® brand belongs to MAIP COMPOUNDING S.R.L., the business division of MAIP GROUP for advanced technopolymer compounding. Starting from 2021, it is also specialized in the production and distribution of 3D printing extremely high quality filaments, that are resistant and versatile.
In particular, FILOALFA® gave us a 40% discount on polymer filaments for 3D printing.

ISTITUZIONAL PARTNERS

EUROAVIA (European Association of Aerospace Students) is an European association founded in 1959, which brings together students of aerospace engineering and related disciplines.
It is one of the main sponsors of the Air Cargo Challenge, and most of our team members are part of it.

Furthermore, EUROAVIA Pisa helped us in approaching sponsors and in finding new members for our team.

The Department of Civil and Industrial Engineering (DICI) of the University of Pisa unifies the departments of aerospace engineering, chemical engineering, industrial chemistry and materials science, mechanical, nuclear engineering and part of the civil engineering department. Multidisciplinarity is one of the distinctive elements of the Department, which collaborates with private companies and public institutions to provide innovative solutions to the local and national production system.
The Department helped the team through a donation that will allow us to cover some project expenses.
